best amp for power?????

thank you all but i think that i have decided to go with the 1200.1 jbl becuase they are cheep and from what i have heard they are good quality. Anyone know any good sites to find good prices? I found a good site on http://www.etronics.com

that site you will have to rely on others for that cause i don't buy over the net unless it is brand new and then i am very causious

But do XTANT amps compare to the clarity and power of Harrison Labs, US amps, McIntosh, and Autotek. No way. XTANT amps are know to have board trouble and overheat around 1 ohm. They are nice, but there are better power amps...

i have checked out etronics and all seems well they seem credible and even have a link on caraudio.com!!!! They deliver in two to three days so if you know something wrong with them let me know!!!

it is true that there is always a bigger fish, but some of the amps you mentioned allthough very good in quality, will cost you an arm and a leg. One of those mcintoch amps can run you the cost a small system. I am running my subs at 3 ohms so I really don't have to worry about over heating. I haven't heard of any board trouble with these amps but hey you never know.

tear up with a 1200.1??? hmmm..................and anyway, thought you said money ws no issue? strokers are legendary and can handle shitloads of power - do them justice.

sorry i meant to say that i am getting a 1200.1 for each speaker. So two in total which will only cost right at 500 bucks. That is about as good of a deal as there is out there for that much power~!!!!!
