Well the kicker is rated at 2 oh not 1 http://www.kicker.com/05/05kicker.html. I have never heard the 2500.1 but i do like the 1200.1. The orion would be nice because you could run it a .5 Cant go wrong with either imo

the MMats will run 1/2 ohm load all day everyday daily driver. they have a 1 ohm and 1/2 ohm model. I carry MMats, great USA stuff HAHA.

Zapco owns all amp brands mentioned thus far save the 20.1, colossus/goliath/maxximus, and Z1 from a power, efficiency, and sound quality standpoint...

And you guys do realise that NONE of the amps listed will give you a real time 3000 watts right? Not even the mighty 9.0 makes its rating (2200) in real time to a sub....it falls about 300 watts short. 1800-1900 into a reactive 4.5ohm impeadance (2ohm dcr resistance) on the first burp with voltage dropping to about 11.0-10.8v

DDz1 should be a LOT more powerful than a 9.0, but I have reservations about how it sounds. Hifonics' are powerful again, but I dont think that the colossus will indeed give you 3kW in real time...particularly not iwth sagging voltage. If you want 3000+ watts look to the z1's running VERY low impeadance or a pair of 20.1s. The only other alternative you have imo is a SoundStream xxx6500d - however you MUST have good voltage for it. (read 3 batteries next to amp + the one up front)

The 2500D is an awesome amp for daily and I would vote it best bang for buck for some power that'll last all day at .5ohm. Its not 3000wRMS but it dishes out some power all day.
