Best 6x9 Speakers?

What in your opinion are the best 6x9 speakers on the market $1-$300? I have the alpine type r's ($100) and was just wondering in case I were to buy 6x9's again for a new car.

I had a pair of JL Audio 6x9's about 5 years ago and they sounded incredible. I also heard the CDT upstage 6x9's (they were seperates not coaxials) on a demo board and really like the clarity and output of those also.

dude, LEAVE BEST BUY RIGHT NOW. check out almanis on ebay. they do pretty awesome for rear fill. cheap too, made really well. have up close secks picks too.

by far one of the worse sounding speakers on the market..

If you like your speakers sounding like tin cans....go for it!
