Best (6 1/2" Or Smaller) Shallow Mount Subwoofer

Hey guys,

I've been checking out some shallow mount subs and I was wondering if any of you audio gurus could help me to educate myself about them.

Specifically - what do you think of their performance when compared with that of standard subwoofers?

(I am particularly interested in speakers measuring 6 1/2" or smaller.)

What is the smallest (production) one you've seen?

What's the best (if any) you have heard?

Are you asking about 6.5" of mounting depth or 6.5" diameter?
