So right now I'm running a 2 amp set-up and was hoping to just use one 5 channel amp. This is my current set-up:
Fronts: Polk Audio 6.5" Components DB6501
Overall Frequency Response 35Hz-23kHz
Nominal Impedance 4 ohms
Power Handling (continuous) 100 w
Power Handling (peak) 300 w
Efficiency 92 dB
Rears: Polk Audio 6.5" Coaxial DB651
Overall Frequency Response 50Hz-22kHz
Nominal Impedance 4 ohms
Power Handling (continuous) 55 w
Power Handling (peak) 165 w
Efficiency 92 dB
Subwoofer: Polk Audio 10" DB Series DVC104
Overall Frequency Response 28-200
Nominal Impedance Dual 4 ohms
Power Handling (continuous) 270 w
Power Handling (peak) 540 w
Efficiency 86 dB
I was thinking about using a JL Audio 500/5 would you guys say that would be sufficient enough even though it would only give the sub 250 watts RMS?
