Best 4 channel???

if im not mistaken the C9 does that power at 16v so it will do less in 12v all the cadence C series amps there power is rated in 16v. the Dtower soundstreams are nice amps just not a fan of how they get mounted but i like the ss over ones u have listed

Already talked to him and the killer was having to run dual 8awg power and ground wires.. I already got way to much going on to add even more wires.

I always liked those orange Cadence amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I hate the color but I can deal with it if its a solid amp..

Good info ty... The SS would not be mounted vert so thats not really a selling pt to me. Just wanting the best for the money performance wise.

The ZRS C series are pretty solid amps. Not to mention that audiosavings is pretty good to buy from. I can't speak of the others but I have been happy with my ZRS amp.

Do u know if they are rated at 16v?? Thats my only concern which someone brought to my attention above. I am switching from a 100.4d so I know I will loose some power with going with these amps but I cant take a hit that just kills my front stage and if they are rated to do 150x4@2ohm at 16volts then it would be a massive hit to my front.

Oooo gotcha, no worries there then. Post on the Cadence forum here and ask them maybe? How much power do you need per channel anyways?
Done Pmed the cadence rep like 4 days ago..... Min of 150x4@2ohm the more the better of course but 150 will do. Must be under 15" max though is the only catch more like 14" but I can wiggle some.

I am unsure about that. Audiosavings had them listed at 13.8, but that could be advertising. I haven't clamped my C-65 so I can't tell you. Cadence doesn't list it on their site either. Maybe try contacting them? I'm sure if they only rated their stuff at 16v then they wouldn't be as recommended. Sorry I can't be of more help.

As a long time Cadence fan from the past, and knowing a past Cadence employee, I sadly would say look towards a different brand. Quality is dropped off a good deal. If you are on a tight budget, check the classifieds. There are some decent options there. The RF 800a4 linked above would be a good option. I think someone on my forum has a CV 4 channel that is a steal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
