Best 15's for the money.

Hello, I really don't know all that much about what to look for in a good quality sub so could someone point me to one of the best 15 inch subs for the $$? Also is it better to get two 2 ohm DVC subs and run the amp at 2 ohms or get two 4 ohm DVC subs and run it on 1 ohm. Ive heard it is much more expensive to wire up a system with the amp running @ 1 ohm. Thanks.

1ohm is usually the cheapest... cuz its costs less for u to get an amp to put out say.. 1,000w at 1ohm than at 4ohms

"Best"? What are you looking for? Daily driver setup? Something that sounds great all the time and gets loud once in a while? Or vice-versa? etc...

well 2 Adire Audio Tempests would fit the bill DVC 8 ohm

2 ohms final load, 400w each.

i think everyone wants to blow someone away with their music every once in a while, like the dude that thinks hes so sick rolling up next to you and bumpin and you just gotta do what you gotta do, but is that your soul purpose? just to make people hear from blocks away? are you really gonna put hundreds if not over a grand into a bullhorn. cause thats basically what it is if thats all your tryin to accomplish. sure let your system have potential and let it be able to get that loud to be heard from blocks away, but if thats all your tryin to do, your wasting your money.

??????? you want to be heard from blocks away and not rattle? OMG its a 15.... one of my 10" rattles my mustang...... and its a entry level 10.... that tempest would shake you........not just your car......
