best 15" sub around $200

I just got a new car and I sold my 2 mmats and my jbl 1200.1. Now I just want 1 15". What's the best 15 for around $200? I want a good mix between spl and SQ. I was looking at the 15" alpine type-r and the 15" mtx thunder8000. I also need a new amp for it. Thanks

Unless you have shops around you that have a wide array of selections, you will most likely be hard-pressed to find a sub that does what you want for under $200.

If you buy from a dealer store, you are most likely going to get your wallet *****, and not get a solid product. Most retailers carry only decent products... the best that most have is JL. No matter the case, ordering direct from a company that does not have many retailers such as RE, Ed, Adire, S.I., Incriminator, would be a much better bet becuase you will get a great product at a great price.
