a lot of people don't like the fosgate woofers, but im going to have to go with the fosgate p1, that thing can take a serious beating. back in the day i had one on a p3002 bridged gain all the way up, roughly after all the losses 350 rms. for years, never blew.

I would take a look at DC Level 3. They are a very good woofer that can take a beating and I believe they are under $200.

Fi SSD is a good all-around sub. There are a lot of option in the 500-1000 RMS range that will suit your needs nicely.

I find it hard to believe you had the gain maxed out, and had any realistic idea how much power you were actually sending to your driver.

P1's have a 1.5in voice coil and its a cheap one too, so I would guess that it would be lucky take more than 200wrms.

but im still open to other suggestions. also ssa doesnt seem to have anything in the 6-800 rms range. do you think 4 12" dcons would sound good?

I think you should look into SA-12's they are amazing subs and at 195 and piece you cant go wrong

is diamond audio any good the d6 12's look pretty good from the specs
