Best 12" subs for zx2500.1 ????

Yeh, do not run that amp at 1ohm, while some can and have...most wont and will break something.

Ill throw it out there cuz i can....Type Rs.....bout 230 shipped for 2 and theyll take that power pretty well.

Well in my setups they have taken that and much more

Hey Simplelux, look into these RE-Audo subs, they are some of the best sounding subs for the price & yes they can get very loud.

the rms on them are 600-peak 1200, which they can handle that all day long.

with these subs RE-Audio gives you a chart on how wire them.

just remember to deaden your trunk well ,if not it will sound like shit if you dont.
If he's going with the kicker amp, going for loud daily, and he's leaning toward RE subs. Step up and go for the RE SX.

HDC3 subs are great imo, I have a 15, I get plenty of thumbs up from people on the roads.

I don't feel like that's enough power for 2 HDC3's. I ran a 2500.1 @ 1 ohm daily for a couple years, but it's not something that I recommend for everybody to do. 2 12" R's should take that power if the amp is @ 2 ohms. Fi Q's or something may also be worth looking into since they sound nice. The R's are stupid loud, but don't sound the best.

meh. I'd do FI Q's. I'd only suggest giving the Type R's that much power if you know what you are doing, and it doesnt seem like the OP knows too much.

Also, do you have enough electrical to support 2500+?
