Best 12" Sub with 8" or less mounting depth

I'm looking for a sub that's capable of handling more power than what I currently have. I have an Image Dynamics IDMAX124 being run in parallel paired to a Kicker CX1200.1. The VC is only 2" in the IDMAX and when pushed it sounds good in the cabin but it gives off a popping sound like it's being over driven, which I know it is. I love the SQ, but I'd like a sub that can handle the power a little better, get louder and still have decent SQ. It's in a 1.4cubic foot sealed enclosure and I want to keep it that way. The box is custom fit to my trunk and was a reasonable deal. I was thinking about a Memphis MOJO 12" as it's mounting depth is 8". Any other ideas?

Look at the DD HiFI lines
Those won't be any better than the IDMax.

What version IDMax do you have? It should be able to handle the kind of power that amp puts out. I ran one in 1.25 cft off of a MB Quart DSC1500.1D and it was fine. Granted I didn't run it full tilt all of the time...

+1 We run 1200w to IDMAX 12s all the time. Unless you're overdriving and clipping your amp, they should handle it just fine. Also make sure you don't have any leaks in your enclosure.
