I am looking to replace my torn AA Arsenal 12" (my fault, moving cause a 2" rip on the cone)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . I have kicker ZX700.5, 165x2 running a pair of rainbows 6.5 up front and 420x1 available for a new sub.
I built a small fiberglass box for the Arsenal to fit the factory sub location because I wanted to retain my 3rd row seat function. Because of the small enclosure, I wasn't really happy with the output of the Arsenal. It was decent.
This time I am forgoing the 3rd row seat and will build a ported box for which ever 12" I end up buying, so space is no longer a factor, budget is ~ $300 for 1 12". Hopefully I will gain more output with this new setup. I have my eyes on the SS RLP-12". Will 420w be enough? If not, what else do you guys recommend?
