Hey,

Thanks for the help guys....Here is the box -

Here are the specs -

DUAL 10 VENTED ENCLOSURE

AIR SPACE: 1.8 CUBIC FEET, ONE CHAMBER

TUNE FREQUENCY: 36 HZ

MOUNTING DEPTH: 7.5" w/ 6" DIAMETER MAGNET

I see a few guys with 2 JL 10W6v2's....but im looking at all options. It is for a Dodge Ram quad cab...(under the rear seats)

Thanks

Whats the max depth a driver can be ? iIs the 1.8 cubes per ? or is that combined from both sides ? Do you want more sq or sql orianted subs ?

There are a few things that would help aid you in picking different subs. Also help us with aiding you on choices.

The max depth is 8"

Cubic Ft. is 1.8 total - it is only one chamber

As far as sq or spl...a nice sq sub that doesn’t lack on the lower end. I would sacrifice some sq for lower end response.

THanks again..here are some subs that other guys have put in this box

JL - 10W7

JL - 10W6v2

Alpine type R

RE sx 10

wtf? An SX? A W7? A typeR? In .9 cubes per sub? That's beyond dumb.

Only subs that will work with that box are going to be low power/mounting depth subwoofers. Maybe those Kicker ones (CVT's?) or like Alpine Type E's or something low end like that.

What price range are you looking at ?

After looking a bit, the RE sx would work ( add a little stuffing ), FI q's or ssd's look like they will work, The JL's would work. I am sure there are others, but haven't looked more indepth yet.

Best bang for the buck....im not looking to spend $300 on a W7 if I get a different sub that may be more suited for this box for less money.

I did here that the 2 SX's sounded really good in this box...???

the magnet has to be 6" in diameter?

I was gonna suggest SS rl-i 10's, but they have a 6.5" magnet diameter

also 10" RE SE's have a 6.25" magnet diameter, those are some great subs

It doesnt have to 6", I know a W7 will fit and it has a 6.55 in. magnet diameter

that SS rl-i sounds good....how does that compare to the RE?
