Best 10" sub?

Im planning on building a box for 4 10 inch subs in my bronco. I want it to be loud. thats why im goin four. But I want it to super tight and clean. Will be sealed box. around 300 rms per sub for now. I have kicker components now so kinda want kicker subs but dont know about them for sq. Been lookin at JL, alpine, kicker and some others. what would be the best sq sub that will get loud but stay clean? and not 400 dollars a sub also

4 subs doesnt mean itll be louder than 2.

but 4 12 kicker cvrs off a 1200.1 would be tight sealed for a simple setup

x2, would sound good, plus be pretty loud.

Why does your title say best 10" sub? You cant get 4 of the best subs and only run them off 1200 watts. You could get two DD 2510's that will get louder than 4 kickers and run them off your amp. But if you want to run 4 of them then go for it.

You're probably right but I just want to let him know thats not the best way to go with 10's. More is not better. It's better to have 2 nice 10's rather than 4 crappy ones and not to mention it's a lot easier to wire it all (because like you said, he's a beginner)

when i plan on going to a 1 sub setup..im gunna look into a dd 10 or 12..no idea what model yet

Yeah I have limited space in my single cab f-150 but so I'm getting either a 9510 if I can find a good price but if not then a 3512. Whichever one I'll be sending it 2.5k:up2somet:

Basically there is no "best sub" But it sounds like you are looking for an SQL subwoofer. I would have to agree and say for an SQL application it would be better to spend more money on 1 or 2 10's than get 4. You will most likely get just as louder or louder(while keeping all of the SQ) 2 more expensive 10's than 4 less expensive 10's. Some sql sub companies would be imagy dynamic, soundsplinter, and jl audio(being the most overpriced of the three)
