Hey guys, I have run this by the MODS and they have agreed and said it is cool if we do this.

I am putting up my RE MX 15 dual 1 for auction. and if it goes for over my cost (don't ask I know what it is and I will share it with bones to verify), 22bones will include a kinetik 2000 (thanks bones)and dropped_mazda has donated a Kicker KQ5 EQ, and wu501, has donated a bunch of misc. install items

The way I would like to do this is to bid you simply reply to this thread and leave your highest bid. All the proceeds will go to GohillaAudio for his "Project Hannah" build.

The auction will run until midnight Sunday the 10th of August.

Please do not bid if you can't pay, payment will be made either directly to GohillaAudio or to my PP account. If you win and you don't pay, the holy wrath of the Car Audio Mods will rain down upon you.

Please reolize I am gaining nothing from this, I am donating my MX to help a fellow member through a rough time.

Do something for someone else and bid from your heart, not simply to get a good deal.

here are some clickable images

the winning bid does not include shipping.

Please keep this at the top, so others can see it.

And pass on the word, Thanks

nobody wants to pay interest, or deal with a bank. I feel if people want to help him do this, that's their choice. It'd be one thing to say he can't sit here and beg for free stuff trying to get the sympathy of others, but I don't think thats a line he's crossing as of now.
Unfortunately by posting what he has in his sig and allowing people to go though with this thread I think that he is.

Building a stereo system for your daughter is not the way to honor her memory. A charity or some other sort of gesture for the world is an everlasting honor...building a system is not.

1. Possibly, but could obviously be argued both ways

2. The things people do for loved ones can't be categorized and labeled as 'appropriate' or 'not appropriate' by people outside of them. Some people don't think funerals are a good way to honor and say goodbye to a lost family member either, and its not in other people's right to tell them otherwise.

It comes down to what he feels inside, and somehow I doubt (assuming this is in no way a scam) he's sitting there thinking 'man my new stereo is gonna be awesome!' everday with a big grin on his face, unless he's also sitting there purely imagining and dreaming of having his daughter next to him watching him build it.

People do some crazy *** shit in the wake of a lost loved one, and sometimes it's just something they need to do. Whether it be to honor them, or to feel like they are honoring them, it makes no difference. Its what his true intentions and desires are that matter, and no one should be judging him for them except God.

how could i have stopped it? i have told kmanian numerous times that i cannot accept this....and if i was this "scammer" wouldnt i have jumped on every free item i could get? i have turned down was more things offered to me that i have accepted, and now i feel really bad for accepting the items that i did.

yes, i could have "started and orginization" or donated to a a good cause, i was very close to donating money to moheartcenter.com, but i then realized that you know.....these places never really figure out a cure, or treatment to problems they research intensevly for years, even decades, so i decided to honor her memory in my own way, and thats why im doing what in doing.

however, i do appriciate you looking out for people jntar, even though your calling me a scammer, and i constantly witness you blatantly misuse your mod status, you are voicing your opinion som something that in your eyes could have been a scam. i do appriciate that much

exactly.

Not to mention the fact that much of money you donate to most charities ends up going to pay for running the charity in the first place. I personally would rather hand some guy on the street who's having a hard time a hundred bucks than go donate a hundred bucks to what is often really just a company with a business platform like any other company. Even if the guy on the street might just gamble it or blow it on alcohol, I believe his enjoyment of it is a better contribution than giving half of it to people who are going to give the other half to other people who are going to give half of that to a scientist or two who haven't really done much in a while.

Im just going to skip to the part of this post that actually interested me.

Show me where I called you a scammer...?

GG on the poo slinging twords the end bro. Shifting the thread on my "abuse of power" is an excellent way to get the attention off you on the hot seat.

Grow up. You're 23 or so your profile says. Your daughter was what? 4? You were young when you had her I can see, but look at this from an adult point of view. You are building a stereo to hopefully win a trophy to honor your lost loved one. BIG red flag there on your state of mind and what is truly important to you.

There are plenty of charities that 100% goes to the victims/ones in need.

Or so they claim, and what's to say they truly support a cause he wants to contribute to?

I agree that was low the way he tried to attack you at the end of his last reply...

Idk, to me, it makes alot more sense for him to do this than to do much of anything else. I know if I were to pass away and leave a wife or son or daughter or someone like that, I'd like nothing more than to see them do something like this for me, and again its truly about what his real, raw intentions are, not about the perception of his actions amongst others.

Hannah was 2 years, 7 months and 12 days old

im not trying to get the "red flag" off of me i dont really care one way or the other, once i get my feet back on the ground finacially i can afford to move on with Project Hannah on my own, thats the only reason i was accepting loans, because i knew i would be able to promptly return the funds.

They have to provide numbers to prove where the money goes. Im not talking about shitty fake charities, Im speaking of the legit ones that can prove the good they have done.

I understand there may not be a charity he wants to support. If this is the case and I was in his shoes I would have declined the money before it had even began. NEVER would I build a stereo, nor use the money in any way that it went to myself.

Im done with the last part...he chose to go that route showing his character.

I can fully understand why Gohilla is doing this. He lost his child, we gave him the help and support he needed to get through the hard times and now he is focusing his energy in the direction that helped him...the car audio community. He will go to competitions, make friends with people and possibly keep from going into a depressive state with their help and a goal that he has set. I am going to send him some wire and a distro block today and I believe in good faith that he is honest and true to his word. If he is doing this for personal gain in a monetary sense, then it's not my job to deal with that, there are higher powers that pull that duty.

Get financially stable and do it yourself. If this is what means/meant so much to yourself and your daughter do it on your own.

As easy as you just made it sound you dont need loans.

^. Nor is it anyone's job to judge people who donate to him and decide whether they are donating to a good cause or not. True intentions are more important than what is truly happening.
