bench pressing

see thats odd. i bench close to 300 but i put up 185 18 times without a spot on my 2nd set to test endurance today. i would figure that you bench 315, 165 should be cake.
i thought that it would be that way to but when you work on only max benching for so long your indurance kinda goes down the shitter. and i figure indurance is more important than lifting a weight only 1 time you are gunna really use indurance everyday you only need brute strength of 1 rep max if say a car or something fell on you

Maybe it has to do with different type of muscle. Before he was focussing on fast twitch muslce now he has to build up slow twitch muscle.
