I don't know the fella to be quite honest. But it seems I misinterpreted your post as an attack on his lifestyle. And you misinterpreted my ***** as a personal attack against you, which it was not intended to be. More so, it's no where near the size of that detailed snowy creation, and thus should not be feared in any way. I have nothing against anyone for believing in whatever they want to believe. It's the people that frown upon other's for not believing what they believe is right, that I have a thing against. I just find it very strange when people find faults with others for having a different mindset. But I guess that's the same thing I am doing, so I'll leave it at that.

Good beer, is good. Filthy water like bud-anything, can kindly die away. $20 for a growler fill?! And I thought Stone's were high around $14. Alas, most the nice breweries have growler specials once a week or so. $10 for a fill is awesome though!

From what I've heard a lot of other microbreweries are more expensive so we have a little bit of a gem here, I take advantage of it as often as possible, haha.

We have a local brewery that fills for $7 all the time and another one that is $8 all the time. $20 is a crazy price for a fill.

Are you in Nashville by any chance? I hit a micro brewery there once that was CRAZY cheap and had growlers like that but was pointless for me as I didn't live there. Incredible beer too, everything I tried that they made was amazing.

Guess I should feel fortunate that I love Guinness and we have a place here that serves it properly, at least I have that.

Indeed. I was just at Stone brewery last week, it was $13 for a 2 litre growler, and $15 to have it filled with their Cali-Belgique IPA. While much more expensive than $5, it's still cheap as hell, and comes down to just over $2 a pint. Some of their less complex beers are only $10 to fill. And this is coming from Stone, one of, if not the, largest "micro-breweries" in the US.
