Yes, very photographic all the way to the end. I should have thought of that and taken pics of the drinking process. I am not the best writer of reviews lol.
No I wouldn't do the Terrapin again. I think your assessment is correct on selling to the popular crowd in the US. It is a good concept, but I would want more hop flavor with the weisse. I enjoy full weisse brews here and there but mainly during Oktoberfest as I find the majority of them too sweet for me. I thought this being a blend of sorts would subdue that, but in the end disappointment is what I got.

I wish I had something else interesting to report on, but I don't. I just poured a Brahma, which isn't anything special. Just a tasteless American style Brazilian Pilsner with above average ABV. Not even worthy of a pic. I enjoy them because they do have a weird diluted character present that I can't place. I guess I would call it wet almost to the point of oily. Not dry like beer usually should be. I stock them from time to time as fillers lol. I would stock Labatts Maximum as fillers but we don't get those down here.

By the way I will continue this thread when I get some more Micros. I found some more I want to try and may hang the Vodka up on the shelf for a little while to get them in on the weekends. Namely some otter creek brews.

No, I haven't. They sell it here, but I look at it the same way I look at Corona. I'm heading to the liquor commission today though, I suppose I can grab one to try out.

In Manitoba, alcohol is all government run. The Manitoba Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) controls everything from taxes to distribution to sales of hard liquor and wine. They "import" different beers from around the world, but are very slow to do so and the selection really sucks. And of course, there's the over inflated price, which includes the government's 1000% tax cut.

Other provinces operate differently (read: privatized). Very much similar to how you have things down there.
