Its very interesting how you can form an opinion like that with very little real knowledge of or about the product.
I definetally would say that these are very capable drivers. my box was a bit too small for them but they still sounded very nice. And got plenty loud for any bass head.

You had them in what, 1.5 or so? What do you feel an adequate sized sealed enclosure would be for these subs?

might want to look up my thread on the 18" I tested for some background and futher testing info, they are solid subs for the price....no super SPL sub, but no junk either.

Yes I do have them in 1.5. I would say the sweet spot is around 1.8-2.0 cubic feet(stuffed) per driver.
