Been out of the game for a while, PLEASE HELP!

I just recently purchased a new car(Pontiac G6), which means my system went with my old car. So now I need something new and some what conservative. I don't have a lot of trunk room so I am looking for just a single sub, probably around the 10" range. I would also like to keep it sealed. I was thinking of a JL W6. Any thoughts or suggestions? I also need amp suggestions as well. To any G6 owners that have a system, can I keep my stock cd player?

look into Elemential Design(ED) subs, there are very effeicent in small sealed box and low power. U can use ur stock headunit, u just need to get a LOC(line out converter). WIth a LOC, it needs to tap into ur speaker leads to convert them into a rca signal.

Any amp suggestion? Any problems with a W6 or should I go a different route like elemental designs like suggested?

the w6 would serve you good. unless you wanna straight beat it, recones ARE NOT CHEAP.

only bad thing about jl, theyre expensive, but they have some goodies.

as far as amp, thats up to you. just make sure you match the rms ratings of the sub/amp at whatever given ohm the subwoofer is.

JL 500/1 - JL 1000/1.... depending on what kind of power your going to want, but JL subs and amps together are very clean. i would also recommend Elemental Designs... alot of people here dont like them but they are great subs
