You need to play the long game here. First spend about 10 grand on audio, next listen to it as loud as possible for many years, eventually pretty much anything anybody is saying to you will all just sound like a high pitched tone, you can just smile and nod and use your imagination to fill in the blanks what the person is saying to you.

See! You guys have all the great ideas! I think my dad figured this out a long time ago as my mom always has said she thinks he is going deaf and needs hearing aids, but he’s always been able to here me perfectly.

They call that "Selective Hearing". My dad has been doing that to me & mom since I was a kid. He hears everyone else just fine but us...yeah Selective Hearing,lol.
