Back in the 90s, I was a passenger in a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo doing 165 MPH down Rt 81 in VA.

Way back in the 80s, I was doing 65 MPH in a VW Rabbit, not impressive until you take into account that I was 5 ft in the air.

But the hairiest (new word?) ride by far was doing 148 KPH in a modified 4WD version of one of these: Picture

Hit a bump and jumped a little off the ground. Almost shit myself!!! LOL!!!

I've been only 145 in my 300zxTT. I've been to 169 in my modified Nissan. This was actually on radar at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. It is a Maxima.

And for the person that said that you don't know speed unless you're on a bike...I've been in a few cars that would shit all over a bike in terms of speed.

Lol, I hear that. There are many brats where I used to live growing up.

I wasnt silver spooned though. Paid for everything I got. I ended up getting *** ***** on that car though. Looked perfect when I bought it and seem like it drove perfect for 6 months and then boom, all kinds of shit started to happen. Paid 5800 for the car and had it 6 months, however did sit in my back yard for two plus years. Foriegn steel dont do too well to winters, lol!

Fastest was 137 in a 1987 Sterling with worn out tires and bad struts. Scariest was 115 in a full sized 1972 Dodge van. Crosswinds and large vehicles that are worn out are pretty scary.

BTW..I mentioned earlier a buddy traded his WRX in a while back and picked up a 03' SVT Cobra. Not really a gear head, or anything like that (never bulit an engine, had a track car, etc.) but I'd just like to point out how helpless I feel in this car as a passenger. Not being able to reach my cigs on the dash from being seat-planted makes me a little uneasy. Car has 2nd gear out of it after 6 months. It still runs 20 to 110 mph in 3rd. Anyone had any experience with this model of Stang? This car, and the Sentra I mentioned earlier are the two fastest cars ive ever been in personally (cept the old big block Buick grandad had when I was little). Am I to assume these later model Mustangs, CamaroSS's/Firebirds are still the best bang for your buck when it comes to factory muscle? Thinking of tryin to find one cheap for a summer ride/project. I remember takin a spin in a 98' Camaro with just the 3.8 V6, and that in itself was enough to pin me back in my seat.
