What kind of car do you have again?

My buddy's 03' Nissan Sentra, Se-R Spec-V, 6spd. Used to run against another buddy's WRX on our way to work in Martinsburg. Sentra spanks that Subaru over 115. On a another note, buddy in question recently got rid of his WRX for a 03' SVT Cobra. Now THAT is a fast car. At least by my standards.

Strange, at 130 mine is still pretty smooth. I think I have a different suspension then you though.

Have to call BS at an ex doing 130, when the old Si's barely did that, not to mention the new Si's barely get to 140, sorry. Wondering how did you manage that?
Plus you were talking about doing 155. So now I am really confused.

See my above post. And yes, downhill, I68, my 92', 99hp, 1.5l Civic LX hit 130mph. Not for long, but it did it...and then the pedal went to the floor, and it felt like the fuel system shut down.

I have beaten Nissan Sentra's before. Beat them in my modded cavalier, which did low 12's in the quarter on NOS. I din not realize they went that fast. Must take a shit ton to get there, cause I beat them fairly easily. Granted I had to use my NOS, but hey he said he could take me with ease with it, so it was on. His car was quick till about 80, thing was I was dead even with him with out the NOS and then I hit it. I just pulled away from him like he was standing still.

Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V 6spd will do 160mph easy.

dont lie. gearing tops at 135-140. been in a couple doing that.

Nope dont believe it. Sorry! I have been in older civic ex's and they were some of the slowiest cars alive unless you modded the hell out of it. But, took a shit ton of money to make them go.

Now the new EX's are 140 hp and get up and go ok, but still wont do 130, unless you got a good long drive.

The new Si's get there fast, but usually top at at 140. I test drove one before I bought my Focus ST.

Very true, as mine is geared for racing and modding. Which I dont get, why they did it in the sedan version and discontinued the SVT for it, but whatever, lol!

i had a stock 95 ex civic and id say no way that thing would get close to 130mph. it took forever to get half way there.

fastest ive been in my car now is about 127mph in 5th gear at like 4500rpm
