i had a el1500.. if i would i seen how cheep u chould get em off ebay i would of never bought it.. cuz it only lasted a month.. powering a 10.. before that for a week it was powering 12s.. the power was something like a sony amp.. but the chrome is always a bonus.. now it sits on my computer desk wit its guts all out.. =D

I bought an el1500 from a guy that repairs them.

Its powering 2 10w3s. Ive had it for 5 months with no problems.

Its the only amp ive had powering them so nothing really to compare it to..

It sounds fine, doesnt get super loud, and for the price its just great.

I think the guy who repaired it upgraded the mosfets, maybe thats why its still alive?

If u go to bazookas site, on the forum they have there, tons of people complain about the el1500s overheating.

So youve really got to make sure youve got it in a well vented spot in your car..
