batcap grounding or grounding second battery

hey I have a batcap and my stock battery is in the trunk. Every ground I find is 3-5 ohms. I could ground my batcap to my stock battery where the ohm load would be .2 or less. But that would be 8 ft away and it's 1/0 so is that too far? Btw I'm doing a 4000 watt system so the best place to ground is at battery.

I have both of mine grounded right to the frame, 2' ground. My primary battery is (~15') too far away.

But you might want to run a ground to it from the other battery too.

alright I can do 2 grounds from batcap one to original ground one to negative on battery

I wouldnt ground it anywhere but the battery but thats just me. I ran 2 18 foot runs of 0 gauge.

x2. 8 foot isnt long especially when you consider the resistance you are encountering.
