I am looking to purchase a Batcap 8400, possibly two, off of another member and was wondering if you guys think they will supply enough power to my amps. I have no experience with these batts so I have no clue how much juice they will really give. Well I have a 300amp alternator with an external regulator. Also these are the 16v versions of the 8400s. Will one be enough to power a pair of AB 500.1s? They run daily at 1.4ohms and will burp at .33ohms. Let me know what you guys think I should do, thanks

im not worried about finding them Louisiana CRX has some, I just want to know if anyone who actually knows about them would recomend me using 1 or getting 2. Obviously id prefer to just get one unless i really need two

they will outperform 3-4 Kinetics or Powermasters.....
wow really? what kinda pricetag am i lookin at for one of these brand new? if they really would outperform 3-4 2400s i dont see why go with one of these as save alot of space and $ and get alot more power:eek:

8400's cost around $1000 (lil more or less) and back at 2005 usaci finals alot of guys switched from bat cap to kinetik banks (17.7 modded banks 4 2400). according to Robert Kollar at the time there was a big difference ( he had used both and is a multiple usaci world champ)according to one of his DB drive team members who switched from 1 8400 to 1 bank the bank was much louder. bat caps do offer a space/weight advantage but costs and use for daily driving i would question. Its good stuff though when used propperly. Steve Cook uses both Kinetik and BC 8400's together, but it isnt a daily driver either. I would ask Bat Cap themselves about daily driving with 8400's that way you know exactly what you are doing without hearsay.
