Batcap 800 enough?

I am running a MA Audio Class X amp, rated at 1500x1 @ 1 ohm. I have 0 ga oing to the amp from the front. Would a Batcap 800 be enough to supply the amp? Also, do I need a relay or isolator between my front battery and trhe batcap?

Have you done the Big 3? That might be enough to solve any dimming before you look at a 2nd battery

If you run an isolator the Batcap will be all on its own supporting the sub amp. If you use a solenoid the starting battery can help when the engine is running. The Batcap miht be enough but a lot depends on you listening habits and music selection.
