Don't be fooled by high CA nad CCA numbers. They will never truly achieve those in real tests. That goes for all the brands out there. CCA and CA mean absolutely nothing to car audio. CA and CCA are measurments at 7.2v. How many of you have amps that run at 7.2v?This is all i could find..
Dimensions of the BatCap 3000:
Height = 7.9"
Width = 6.8"
Length = 10.2"
Weight = 58 lbs.
CCA: 3000

That link says this unit is 30% capacitor and 70% battery. I have seen many studies show that caps are 100% useless. Even their website says the same. I am not sure if it is the dealer that is making that up or not, but it does not make very much sense.
Umm...really? Like?And to all of you that run Batcaps and like them, I am not trying to offend any of you. If it works for you, so be it. I just have personally seen many other brands that are:
a) Better products
b) Cheaper priced
c) Less marketing BS

Have you ever even used one? Have you ever seen a comparison between one and a similarly priced or sized other high end battery?

What I am looking for is their reserve capacity and Ah ratings. I am not seeing that info anywhere.

What do you mean by "would not power his system" Sounds like he got aWell here is a little comparison:
Batcap 2000 vs PM D1200
These are the same size batteries and I know for a fact that you can get more power out of the D1200. A friend of mine had these two cells. He bought the batcap first and it did not power his system. I have a Kinetik 1400. He borrowed mine to see if it would work and it did work for him, but it was too big to fit. So he bought the D1200 and it has worked fine ever since. That and I have never seen first hand anyone that ran them for a long time and was happy with them. Maybe that is just my bias, but that is what I know.
Meaning his voltages dropped past 10v and his amps went into protect mode. The battery was tested at the local audio shop and they said it was a good unit, but they have had issues with them and suggested we exchange it for the PM. After installing the D1200, his voltages never even hit 12v. Amps never cut out either.What do you mean by "would not power his system" Sounds like he got a DOA Batcap 2000. That does not mean they all ****.
He did not have a competition level system, but it was decent stuff. IIRC he had all Kicker gear. I am pretty sure it was a zx750.1 and a zx200.4.wow, what a tard, batcaps are great for their size, weight, cost, and power output. "derrr it did not powerz my xpoldz derrrr" what a tard. how could it not power your system? wtf do you mean?
all i can say is 2 batcap 2000's and a 3 year old redtop keep my voltage above 12 volts at idle with about 4500rms at full tilt. you sir are a tard, you've never personally owned one
