Torture is illegal correct?

Cruelty to animals is so I would think it that was cruelty or torture he would be

pictures is one thing, links is another. He didnt post anything indescent, he posted a link to something indescent, and you chose to go take a look at it. You banned him because he found humor in it, not because he broke rules.
