Bass Tube in my truck. Need help!

Hey thanks for the info! I wonder if I could make my current tube which came with the amp build in and change it to a passive tube just by adding seperate amp. Not sure how to bipass the current input module to use the new amp. Because the woofer is in new like condition and the tube is great for the space. It would be a shame to just not use it anymore because of the shity amp mount bazooka designed. So let me know if there is a chance of hooking the tube to a outside amp? thanks!

yes, it could be easily done.

i guess if you were satisfied with the sound before that might be a good option, but if you getting a new amp you might as well get a new sub/box too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if you really want to try that, just unhook the wires from the back of the speaker, and run wires from a different amp to it. totally remove the other amp and re-assemble the tube.

I'm gonna reccomend a box too. I thought I could just stick my two Assassin 8"s in tubes as well, and what did I get? Some really crappy SQ and two subs that can't hit notes even my 6.5" Klipsch can hit...

I'll hopefully have my box by this weekend, depends on how fast the guy can make it...
