Just get the Bass Mekanik albums so you can sweep the whole bass range.. this will help you dial in your mid-bass to sub-bass roll-off and roll-on as well as every bass frequency you expect out of a sub.

Very Low continuos bass. Most systems are incapable of playing all 3 notes. If you can play this track then YOU ARE THE MAN.

Also if you can find Tocatta and Fuege in D Minor by JS BACH on the album BachBusters put out by Telarc Digital. This is one of the best recordings on disc available. Incredible demo CD.

Some of my personal favs are Trendsetter by Ron C and Computer Love on Techmaster PEB.

Favorite all time cd is by MC A.D.E. How much can you take. (entire album wangs) Have seen this cd for 125.00 on E-Bay (very rare)

As far as the Billy idol CD. Try it before you knock it. It will show the flaws in many peoples systems

Maybe I got a crappy version of the Gorilla Zoe song I downloaded, but it didn't have any bass at all. I even adjusted my amp to play between 20-130hz.
Elevator by Flo Rida hits real hard in 2 spots though. Rest of it is so-so on my set up.

man this song is bangin in both my setups weither its ttuned to 38, 40 or even 56, its loud as hell especially around 40ish, on ever other verse u get a constant bass note that last the whole verse then stops then starts back up and when the chorus hits it drops down to like mid 30's and back

Try Unanswered by ******* Silence. I only listen to metal and most Doom or Sludge Metal has some sick bass lines in them. Try things like Torche, Rwake, and Electric Wizard.

36 crazyfists - at the end of august

while the band prodigy doesnt classify as rock, it in drum and bass category which is a hard hard techno. edgy sound. has very similar beat to it.

Smack my ***** up, breath, and firestarter are great.

anything by tool for the most part hits as well.
