it is a volfenhag, you prolly found that out because of the Xmax:16mm, in anyway, the SQ on this is great for me. I think it Sounds better than the sony xplods and normal retail crap in stores...

the volfenhag sub has rolling bass power, it feels like a backmassage.

Compare it to a real sub in a proper enclosure please. Ignorance is bliss I guess. Your friends seem to know that it has terrible sound quality though...

What? That it was a volfenrandom or that it has terrible SQ? I knew by the description and the 94dB sensitivity that it was something ghetto. The chrome yoke or whatever with bolts gave it away that it was the red volfenhag sub.

I know they sound horrible from trying to help a friend with one. It was sloppy and performed horrible. It got decently loud in 2 tuned to ~35 but was muddy and just sounded under motored.

even if you built the custom enclosure yourself all the time effort and money isnt worth the sub your putting in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif save that money and get a real sub
