Bass that can be heard from afar.....Sealed or Ported?

Some of us don't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Mainly because I don't want my shit stolen.

u dont even have a car for anything to be stolen out of.

and i know you get ansy sometimes and like to feel cool

Lies!!! Im mainly talking about people who run 2000+rms systems for daily. That's more then enough to be heard for outside. right.
I run 2400w daily, and can barely hear my system playing outside, even standing 5 feet away.

It'll be **** near impossible once I deaden the interior.

from my experience trucks just dont get loud outside unless you have alot of power. i drive a carolla and have two of the cheapest 12s that eclipse has ever made they are in a sealed box (not sure of cuft) i run them at 80 watts rms each and they can be heard about 1 block away if my windows are down. not i bulit a 2 cuft ported box tuned at 36 hrtz and put a single re sr 12 in it for my friend (who drives a truck) he has (and i have measured it) 300 watts rms going to each of the two 4 ohm coils. in the truck it is loud. if the truck is off the tack jumps between 500 and 1000 rmp just from the vibrations. with all of the noise and power if he rolls down his windows it can barley be heard next to mine. so i have a feeling that trucks for some reason just dont produce alot of volume outside their cab. just my 2 cents
