bass race question

are cut-throughs in pick up trucks permitted in bass race? i have a standard cab chevy and was thinking about doing a cut through with it to bass race in and wasnt sure if you can. i know in db drag you can but it puts you in a higher class. bass race seems to be not as strict as db drag but i dunno

You can literally use anything in bass race. Your class is decided by sustained volume, not speakers, power, etc.

Depends on setup. I've seen them do a 150 on the TL and play music and I've seen them do 156-157 in burp only setups

They are certainly legal in Bass Race. You can build your system anyway you like in Bass Race.

Cut thrus below the window line used to be legal in dB Drag SS 1-2 and some trucks used to do upwards of 163-164 dB on the TL with 2 15s.

thats good to know. i always felt the pain of a regular cab truck not alot of bass. not alot of room in those cabs and didnt really wanna cut before. but heck if i can cut and still compete it could be worth it.

is it legal in db drag, if so what lass would it be?

You would end up being in Superstreet in dB Drag.

Cant do No Wall, it will count as a wall.
