Bass problem eludes CAR TOYS installers

I think it's just over loading the factory charging system so a smaller amp might be the answer.

Would it be more likely to help alleviate this problem by replacing the Amp or replacing the woofer with 2 or 4 ohm instead of my current JL Audio 3 ohm?

I would TEST a 2 ohm or 4 ohm woofer first, then duplicate the fault

Good point. I suppose I can throw just about anything in there to check it out.

yeah, i'd just wire it up to test, don't even bother about putting it in the box
