bass makes cd skip

hey my cd player skips whenever i turn it up to around 22 or up.

it only skips when the bass hits so what to do

should i just take it out and tighten the screws

mabey wrap it in something to cusion the blow

sound deadener

i really dont think this should be happening seing how i have 1 12 inch type r

Yeah definately pull it and make sure that it's been mounted properly. No reasonable amount of sound should ever make a properly mounted deck skip like that.

yep, just take it back out and make sure its secure when you put it back in - if its as tight as can be it shouldnt skip (from bass)

no its not a sony, its a kenwood ( the one with the color changing faceplate, 30 colors or something dont know what its called anyway) its fixed now, i didnt even take it out, i just kinda pulled it forward(toward back seats, it moved about a millimeeter and it works now, that was weird

my cd player does wired shit like that all the time..... and yeah its from sony...

The reason I was asking is because my old Sony skipped alot for no apparent reason.
