Bass Knob with a 4 ch amp question.

I'm thinking about getting a 4 channel amp and running 2 of the channels bridged to push a sub at 300 rms watts @ 4ohms.

my question is if I use a bass knob will I be able to controll the gains on just those bridged channels for my sub? or will it controll all the channels at once?
