Bass knob remote question

Just curious as to what the bass knob actually does, is just bass boost? I have an AB VFL 100.1 and since I am still in the break in period with my W6 I have not touched it but honestly the only time I can think of I would need it is for songs that for some reason don't seem to have the right bass recorded into the song to make the sub hit, but for those I'm not sure even then it would help.

Sometimes it's a bass boost and sometimes it's an adjustable gain knob.

American Bass Vlf 100.1-1000.1 series amps are no joke.

They probably have adjustable gain on the knob which means it's good to use.

On the other hand my Ct sounds 4000.1's knob is a ****** bass boost

Set your gains with the remote on max. That way you can turn it down but can not turn it up. You cant add bass if the recording does not have bass, that will send the amp into clipping
