Bass knob, can they be universal?

Sometimes they are, sometimes there not. I used a Kicker bass knob on a Rockford amp once. Worked fine, but it was the opposite way. lol. 0db's meant 18db's and vice versa. Wierd.

hmmp, i dont think mine will work but ill give it a shot, since my knob has a gain and frequency setting..

my radar detector uses a phone jack so i am thinking if you turn up the volume on the detector it will increase bass as well since it is universal

I tried using my AQ bass knob on my sundown amp and it didn't work...

Plug in a phone and then you can dial in your bass, since all things that use a phone cable are compatible it should work, right?
