Bass Enhancers, Audiocontrol / Maxwaves / Soundstream

I know that the epicenter needs different subsonic modules to change it. the PG and soundstream I think have a knob. I like my epicenter, it just seems like a better quality product, though I have not used the others.

Im not sure, so dont take this literally, but the epicenter has parametric controls, Im not sure if the others use thoes or conventional.

 
From what I know of audiocontrol (the Epic-160 anyway) it takes mid-bass frequencies or anything like 100hz+ and reproduces notes in harmonic octaves below that note.. like if it gets a 120hz signal it will output a 60, 30, and 15hz bass notes below that fundamental.
