What i'm trying to say is don't assume shit about people. It doesn't take a whole lot to be heard with bass coming out of your car. You'd probably hear 2 12 inch sonys, not loud but you'd hear them. You see someone pumping their system and it sounds like you automatically assume they're trying to impress someone. I may be wrong but thats the vibe i'm getting after months of reading posts from various members.

No no no. You're bound to hear someone with 1000 watts bumping in their trunk regardless of how much sound deadener they have. But it's a big difference when someone has no sound deadener, turns the bass boost all the way up, turns the volume all the way up, rolls all the windows down, and bumps through residential neighborhoods. The goal for every car audio enthusiast should be for the driver to hear as much of the music is possible, which is why people who don't bump responsibily are not only irritating, but they're just plain confusing. My point is to listen to the music responsibily, that's it.

its a simple matter of respect....u shouldnt be driving around in residential areas w/ your bass blasting....period.....specially w/ your windows down.....and at night.......i have 2 "ricer" kids that drive up and down my street at all hrs of the night and day doing "bass drive bys" as they have been called so far.....they probably arnt doing it purposly....but the fact is they are not respecting the fact that others dont need to hear their music.......lucky for them they havnt woke my son up yet.....the day that happens i'll be knocking on thier door asking them politly to turn their bass down when they are in the neighborhood....if that doesnt work the police will be involved.....and if that doesnt work.....well we wont go there.......

Again it's still possible to hear the bass whether or not something is on. There was this guy that lived a few doors down with JL WO's, WO's! and i could hear him coming from quite a distance. Now JL WO's ****, and the only way your not gonna hear bass is if there's none at all. And there's always alot of shit on in my house, the T.V., the radio.

I have had many problems with my volume levels, thou I don't think I was totally outta place, I was playing some ball at a court, outside a school and a lady from like 5 blocks away was saying how shit was falling off her shelfs and what not. It's was like 2 or 3 PM and I know it wasn't that loud because it was a friends car with ONE sony explod 12 getting some 300-400 watts. Maybe it's because I live in a smaller town but I'm sure if we brought a ghetto blaster, one with a bass-tube, she wouldn't have said shit, but because it was in my car she was all *****in about it. I know bass travels far, even at low levels, but it was the middle of the day and there was nothing(houses) around the school for a couple blocks and then her house.

I totally agree that we ALL should be responsible and shit for how loud we get or can get, but during the day with a little noise(bass) is that so bad? Friggin construction and cars going by her house were louder that we were, so why doesn't she go and hunt down all these ppl and tell them to drive quieter?

just my $.02
