I have a bass control device sitting around here, it plugs into the sub amp and comes with control knob. How does this exactly work? does it remotely turn up the Bass Boost or does it do something else?
Also, if i do plug it in, what position of the knob would make it equivalent ot what it is without hte control unit? like if i plug it in with the knob turnbed all the way down, will that be equal to what the original sub output is or would it actually lessen it. reason i even have this is because i use my stock headunit with converters for my sound system, theres no decent aftermarket headunit package for my car (04 acura tl) unless i buy a touch screen monitor (my headunit it like a double din, jsut even more complicated)
