How does this exactly work? does it remotely turn up the Bass Boost or does it do something else?Also, if i do plug it in, what position of the knob would make it equivalent ot what it is without hte control unit? like if i plug it in with the knob turnbed all the way down, will that be equal to what the original sub output is or would it actually lessen it. reason i even have this is because i use my stock headunit with converters for my sound system, theres no decent aftermarket headunit package for my car (04 acura tl) unless i buy a touch screen monitor (my headunit it like a double din, jsut even more complicated)</blockquote>
