What would be a good recommendation for a bass CD? I'm entered into a competition at my local A&B Sound in Calgary, AB and the winner gets $200. I figured I'd enter for the hell of it, because my system is ****ing loud even if you don't like some of the parts to my system.

Anyways, what is a good CD to buy that would be have lots of bass to show off my system?

i bought the bass mekanik power tools 2 cd compilation. best investment for use in competitions...i used it in my last comp, and it has precision tones with it too from like 20hz-90hz. peace

They're rated for 250wrms, so you were overpowering them, especially the poor 10s. XBL subs sound really clean at their limits due to the flat BL...

Those look like decent cheaper options for sure and probably fine for some systems, but I agree, Audiocontrol has been making high quality stuff...
