Mid 140's ****ed with my breathing to the point that I couldn't smoke a cigarette. Way back in the day, like 1990, friends older brother had 4 15's. Had to roll the window down cause I felt like I was losing my breath. He was probably only doing 140 or so. I think we are mixed at about 110db playing out live, maybe a little more, and I've seen people puke... but generally they are drinking. I've also seen chicks have a really good time with my bass lines and a couple of 18" subwoofers running through the board. I run an Ampeg 8x10 and it doesn't generally touch the P.A. it's just there for a monitor basically. I'm not running that much wattage though, direct out to the P.A.
