i was wondering if these things are worth a shit or if i have to just run a new amp and real xovers to my tweeters to get them to stop playing bass notes at all and if i can get away with using them what hrz ranges do i need to be looking into 400hrz and lower at 8 ohm with 45 rms watts going to 5x7's?

i know its a dumb qustion but id love to save 500 and do this cheap fix if it will work can some one please tell me that im a moron or if its worth a try cost me like 20 bucks to do it this way

umm...get a real crossover for your tweets. Bass blockers are mainly for midrange speakers i believe, but i dont have much experience with them. Cheapest fix for you would be to just get a cheap passive crossover set off ebay and add that in. Or either get some tweets with inline crossovers. BTW most of the cheap tweets sound like shit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Seas neo tweeters aren't that expensive and from what i've heard they sound pretty good.

How the **** is "spending 500" the only right way to fix it? **** dude. You can get a decent set of comps for less than 75 bucks... and be done with it. Major SQ difference than just a set of coaxs with shitty tweets wired in. Pick up a set of PG rsds for 60 bucks, i have a set and they sound **** good.

you are right dude i am a jack ***. 150 bucks on some tweets to fit 2-300 for the amp to put on them then the 4g to run it all by then the alty upgrade i thought 500 was kinda lowballing it too....
