Bass Blockers?

Would it be good to add bass blockers to my 4" speakers. Will they sound better and last longer? All my bass comes from my subs.

Sure won't hurt them. I've used em on several coax installs and they helped a lot. Let the speakers play cleaner/louder since they're not trying to play the low freqs.

If you are running the 4"s on your HU, then grab some bass blockers. It'll remove distortion from playing the bass frequencies.

Doesn't matter either way. 99.9% of passive crossovers (2-way ones anyway) do not bandpass the mids, so they will pass all frequencies below the crossover point.
