I have a cheap alpine HU with no filters. Is there any capacitors that would filter out low freqs?

I see on parts express theyre just non-polarized caps and did some research online, but couldnt find the info I wanted.

What kind of capacitor cuts out 0-200 or so hz?

ehh I'm trying to put a resistor in line with the speaker wire to cut out low frequencies. jw if it would work because I don't feel like buying a new hu

I'm using 220uF caps for my 5x7's. Those seem to be about right.

They're not polarized because there's nothing directional about the way they work.

Anyone remember this chart from the good old days?

How does that work? I vaguely remember learning about making high pass filters and low pass filters in school. I believe it has something to do with the way you wire them. I want to say for a high pass you put the cap in series or inductor in parallel and vice versa for a low pass. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
