Basic question about box rise with 2 amps

Maybe a dumb question. but if I have a amp at .5ohms and box rise to 1.36ohm at 40hz. If I run two amp (not strapped) at 1ohm would it box rise to 2.7 ohms or so. Or would it see half of that on each amp?

Each amp @ 1 ohm will still see 2.7 each. If they were strapped @ 1, they would each see half.
