Im getting ready to do a huge install and i just got the first shipment in today which included:

Orion 1200d

Orion 4002

Knukonceptz 0/1 guage amplifier kit

Fused distro block 0/1 in 2 4 out

ground distro block 0/1 in 2 4 out

I still need to get/buy:

4 guage wire

0/1 guage for big three

2 rcas

speaker wire

1 more aa avalanche

Whats coming in:

15 inch avalanche

positve battery terminal

0/1 guage screw terminal rings

before the pictures i want to tell you what im going im going to be doing a two 15 inch subwoofer setup in a box like this:

and then i came up with these dimensions sorry if they are confusing:



My question is what would be the easiest way to build this and how much room would i need to get sufficent space to port my avas or should i just seal them off?

Now that thats said and done i am hoping to eventually upgrade my pioneer revs to a nice comp set and i am hoping to change my headunit from a 9853 to a 9833 might seem like a downgrade but i like that model a lot better. Now for the pics:

Does anyone know how i could curve the wood on the sides... or should i just build like a square box and then put the curved piece over it?

build a normal box with "beauty pieces". that way the subs are flushed and all.

he probablly means the pieces you are referring to to hid the corners.

Box square but the ends cut rounded to fit over the wells and will still look like the whole box is rounded to fit.

Anyways got the wood cut today by lowes which does it for free? Anyways the guy did a **** good job all the measurements are correct and anyway couldnt be happier. and my **** camera broke but i should have the box built by tommorow and then i will start installation.

Well I got the box built and the wires run. Should have it all installed by sunday So excited would of took pics but camea broke. Ill have pics sunday

must be nice to get it all done at once...ive been buying and installing since december....this is what happens when you switch equipment in mid install. sucks...good luck man get us some pics sometime

Got everything installed running the orion at ,5 ohms. Doing really well will get pics up asap. But when i play sould survivior the subs like shuit off? its weird but i dont know other then that its loud. Im trying to get the pics...

Love this setup but i think the avas can tske more. Being that i have the orion 1200d running at .5 ohms. Does anyone know how to get that wood smell out if your car?
